For us, a collaboration characterized by fairness and trust is of particular importance. We therefore promote the professional and personal development of all employees at BIAS. This is done in a number of ways. Already for students, we enable participation in current research projects in order to gain insights and experience in scientific work. We encourage all employees to take on more responsibility or management tasks and positions in the company at an early stage, depending on their capabilities and interests. We promote further education and training and support the compatibility of family and work. Of course, this also applies to our student assistants.
BIAS aims to increase the proportion of women in technology and science and encourages women to apply. In addition, interested female colleagues can receive intensive support in cooperation with the University of Bremen in their academic career projects such as doctorates or habilitation. In implementing the advancement of women, the management works closely with the women's representative of BIAS.
Severely disabled people are preferred if they have the same professional and personal aptitude. Applications from people with a migration background are very welcome. We would like to point out that our job advertisements also include the third gender. BIAS attaches great importance to gender-independent professional equality.
